Baba Ramdev beats Olympic medalist
Displaying his wrestling skills, Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev went head to head with 2008 Olympic silver medalist Andriy Stadnik, in a promotional bout of the Patanjali Powervita Pro Wrestling League (PWL), which is sponsored by Ramdev.
Wearing his identical saffron langot, Ramdev came out on top 12-0 over Stadnik. Before the bout began, Ramdev exhibited his firebrand yoga moves and then proceeded to the battle. He pulled out the best technical moves such as take-down, one leg hold and pinning down.
Stadnik, who well knew that it was just a promotional bout, allowed Ramdev to have his way and after about 20 minutes, he surrendered. The bout took place during the second semi-final between Punjab Royals and Mumbai Maharathi.
