Hyderabad identified globally
Hyderabad is identified as the fifth most dynamic city in the world, according to a City Momentum Index (CMI) prepared by global financial services firm JLL.
The CMI part of discussions at the ongoing World Economic Forum annual meeting at Davos-Klosters, Switzerland, has Bengaluru on the top of the list and and Pune, Chennai, Mumbai and Delhi are in the top 30 cities.
India with five megacities now, will have 7 megacities by 2030, the United Nations World Cities Report 2016, also being discussed by the WEF, said. Hyderabad and Ahmedabad are speculated to turn as the mega cities by 2030.
Reacting about the news, Telangana IT Minister KTR tweeted, "Happy to be among top 10 but have room to grow more. Glad our own Bengaluru is rated 1".
