Several dates were announced earlier, naming it as Hyderabad metro rail launch date, but the officials could not keep up their promises. Here's yet again another launch date, the officials are keen to launch the metro rail services.

Marking the formation of the Telangana state, the metro rail services would be launched on June 2nd. Regarding this, the state government also issued clearance to the Metro Rail operations between the 11 km stretch from Miyapur to SR Nagar & 16 km stretch from Nagole to Begumpet.

CM KCR has given instructions to make all the arrangements for the grand launch and also warned not to miss the date. Chief Secretary SP Singh expressed happiness over the progress of the Metro Rail works. 

If this turns true, it would really be a great news for all the Hyderabadis, who are struggling in the city traffic and losing hours of time.
