Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is making his best efforts in designing AP new capital Amaravati. Regarding this, while he earlier brought Rajamouli into the picture, now even, he sought assistance from director Krish and art director Anand Sai.

Impressed by the huge sets and art work done by both the directors in their recent historical films Baahubali and Gautamiputra Satakarni, Naidu thought that they would do the best justice.  

Even Anand Sai worked as an art director for several huge films like Indra, Badrinath, Yamadonga etc and thus was able to grab the opportunity.

Top Indian architect Hafiz Contractor is partnering with Foster in designing two "iconic structures" -- the High Court and the Legislature Complex -- apart from the master plan for the 900-acre core capital area.

Foster and Partners, who already held one round of talks with Rajamouli, is expected to submit a "rough draft" design of Amaravati to the CRDA on January 25th. Foster is reportedly charging Rs 67 crore for the design work.
