TSRTC: KCR suggests measures
In an attempt to make the TSRTC come out of the losses, the Telangana Chief Minister KCR suggested a few of the measures as below:
- KCR suggested RTC to increase the number of buses even in the untouched routes.
- Big buses should be replaced with the minibuses in the routes, where the crowd is not huge.
- Several commercial establishments should be raised in the places owned by RTC.
- 50 minibuses in the rural routes by the end of January.
- 86 minibuses in all the districts soon.
The seating capacity in these buses is 40 and as there would be no conductor, the tickets would be available at the driver itself. Along with TSRTC coming out of the losses, the rural people would also be benefited through these travel facilities.
