After the demonetization was declared by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, be it TDP in AP or TRS in Telangana, only tried to play the safe game with the sensational decision, as a few sections of the society are highly supporting it and a few are going against it.
While Pawan Kalyan's Janasena publicly declared that its against demonetization, now another notable party in the Telugu states- Congress went against the note ban.
Organized by former minister Danam Nagender, Congress conducted a huge rally from Charminar to Gandhi Bhavan. Addressing it, former Union minister S. Jaipal Reddy described Modi as a “modern day Mohammad bin Tughlaq”. “With such an ill-timed, ill-advised move of banning high value currency notes, Modi is even more dangerous than Tughlaq,” Reddy said.
TPCC chief N. Uttam Kumar Reddy, on the other side, opined that the demonetization has ruined India's economy and left every citizen facing a crisis. Not stopping there, he also slammed KCR for supporting the note ban.
But the one thing, Congress ignored is, when every citizen is facing the crisis, how come the party is able to conduct such huge rallies. How the Congress officials are going to pay the party activists, who participated in the rally? It seems, the Congress is unwilling to give any effort to the oppositions to jolt them and so planned to jolt themselves in this way!
