No disturbance to fee reimbursement- KCR
When the opposition parties questioned about the fee reimbursement scheme, Telangana Chief Minister KCR, speaking in the assembly said that, his government is making sure, the scheme is moving forward with no disturbance from any side.
After TRS government was formed in the state, Rs. 1880 crores of arrears related to fee reimbursement, were cleared, though the scheme was introduced by the Congress government, KCR said. He further explained about the reason behind delay of these payments, claiming that the admissions in the colleges are taking place on a regular basis.
KCR further added that the TRS government also paid Rs.1487 crores this year and a total of Rs. 4687 crores in the last 2.5 years. Unwilling to disturb the education of the students from lower class communities, we are making sure the arrears are being cleared regularly. So the oppositions need not blame the state government, he said.
