Chenetha Laxmi to boost handloom sales online
Telangana IT Minister, who is on high to promote handloom industry, is now planning various programmes to boost the handloom sales.
Regarding this, the Telangana State Handloom Weavers Cooperative Society (TSCO) is planning to bring Handloom fabrics even online through the scheme "Chenetha Laxmi". The handloom workers are invited to join in this scheme, for making their products available online.
As per the current procedure, the handloom workers could only approach TSCO showrooms for the membership. But the officials are planning to provide membership through online, to boost the handloom sales. The officials are also planning to make the users pay the monthly membership fees online. KTR already advised to modernize tsco.co.in website.
