KCR keen to involve NRIs in state's development
With the intention of witnessing the development, right from the rural areas across Telangana, it is known that, the state Chief Minister KCR, introduced the concept of adopting the villages. As a part of this programme, he asked all the officials in his government to adopt the villages in their constituency and develop them.
Not only the government officials, even the film celebrities like Mahesh Babu, Prakash Raj and many others came forward and adopted the villages.
With the continuous efforts of the state government, the growth rate is currently at 21%. Intending to increase it, KCR now sought even NRIs to be the part of this programme and adopt their respective villages. The government assured to provide all kinds of support, if the NRIs come forward and participate in the programme.
