1.25 kgs gold seized from smugglers' underwear
Two people who tried to smuggle 1.25kgs of gold by hiding it in their underwears, were arrested at Hyderabad airport.
Reportedly, the suspects identified as Amer, Fahad and Fasiuddin, arrived on an Air India flight from Jeddah. 3 months ago, Fahad and Fasiuddin moved to Saudi Arabia. As per Hyderabad based Amer’s orders, they along with two other passengers returned to Hyderabad with the smuggled gold bars. Amer is based in Hyderabad.
Reportedly, Fahad and Fasiuddin were nabbed, when they are handing over the smuggled gold bars to Amer. But another report stated that, while the duo were passing, the metal detectors beeped and the official pulled them aside for questioning. After questioning they found out the associates waiting outside the airport.
