Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is the one politician, who concentrates on technology more than any other leader and would always be the first one to back technology.
It is known that, Chandrababu Naidu suggested demonetization to Modi, even before its implementation and he was the first to claim the credit, after the high denomination notes were brought down from the circulation.
Since then, he has been concentrating on the cashless transactions and is keen to make AP, a cashless state. Regarding this, he is now keen to implement a new method. According to it, either a smartphone or biometric device (Finger Print Scanner that cost around Rs. 1000 to Rs. 2000) could be used for the cashless transactions.
For instance: When a consumer buys a Rs. 10 worth good, he can pay it, using his finger print. However, this could be possible, only if the bank accounts were Aadhar enabled. Krishna District Collector Babu came up with this new method, for which he received appreciations from Naidu.
