After successfully implementing Operation Aakarsh and attracting YSRCP MLAs into TDP earlier, the leading party of AP is now reportedly planning to resume the operation to attract the remaining MLAs from Jagan’s party.

Hinting about this, AP TDP President K. Kala Venkat Rao said that, to ensure the development of their constituencies, few more YSRCP elected representatives will join TDP. At a point of time, where YSRCP leaders are unable to make impact and losing significance, TDP further trying to jolt the party, is going to cost really big to party’s Chief Jagan Mohan Reddy.

On the other hand, as TRS is completely trying to enjoy the supreme power, eliminating TDP from Telangana, AP CM has got no other option other than strengthening the party at least in one state completely. In 2014 general elections YSRCP bagged 67 seats in the 175 member AP assembly and emerged as a strong Opposition Party. But so far 20 MLAs have joined TDP.
