Catching the current mood of the Indians, which is “Cash Crunch”, Snapdeal announced a new facility called Cash@Home. Through this facility, the customers can order the delivery of cash directly to their door step.

How it works?

- Install the Snapdeal app.

- The app uses customers location data to check if there is cash available in your area. 

- If it is available, the customer will get a push notification and an SMS notification, taking them to the order page.

- A convenience fee of Rs. 1 has to be paid, either via FreeCharge or debit card. 

- The next day, a Snapdeal logistics executive arrives at the customer’s house with a POS machine, and you can swipe your card and get your cash. 

- However, the limit is Rs. 2000 per day on the booking.

The service is already live in parts of Gurugram and Bengaluru and is soon to be launched in other parts of the country. It works only through the app.
