A day after Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu revealed his unhappiness towards the demonetization, he now says that his comments are distorted. Naidu clarifies that he is happy with the demonetization, but found fault with the way it is being implemented.
Explaining the same, the dynamic CM said that he was disgusted with the distribution of money during the elections and that’s why I wanted a ban on high denomination notes.
“In my life, I did not focus on anything as much as I focused on demonetization. I troubled the bankers, RBI and the District Collectors by reviewing the situation for hours every day. But still things did not happen as fast as we wanted,” he said.
Expressing unhappiness over the delay in the distribution of the welfare pensions, Naidu said that, he warned the banks and then the RBI acted. Hereafter, the pensions will be distributed manually and not through banks, CM clarified.
