Janasena Chief Pawan Kalyan lashed out heavily at the demonetization decision, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took on November 8th.
After the demonetization, no one can deny the truth that the common public is facing tough time to exchange the old notes with that of the new ones and also withdraw the cash from the ATMs. There is even loss of lives, while standing in the queues for hours together. Not only the public, there were reports, where even the bank staff, unable to tackle the work pressure, committed suicide.
Noting all these situations, Pawan Kalyan took to his twitter, seriously questioning RBI governor Urjit Patel, “In a country like ours, where ‘manual scavenging’ is still in existence- even after 69 years of independent India, governments could do nothing to alleviate ‘Manual scavengers’ suffering and to bring their human dignity back. And now..in a country like this, you want us to believe that “CASHLESS ECONOMY” will work?”
Pawan further came down heavily on those biggies, who are exchanging the notes illegally. “While INNOCENT & HELPLESS are DYING standing in the lines stretching to KMs..the ‘SCOUNDRELS of FIRST ORDER’ are exchanging the plundered wealth of this nation SITTING IN THE COMFORT OF THEIR HOME..”, Pawan tweeted
Pawan claimed that, black money has not been wiped out, but only replaced its old ways with that of the new ways. Jolting the bankers who helped the biggies for exchanging currency, the actor turned politician opined that a percentage of the bank staff has joined the existing group of plunders.
When Pawan Kalyan opened up on the forgotten issues like Rohit Vemula, cow slaughter, etc, many opined that, he lacked the knowledge about it or is unnecessarily raising the heat. Even no discussion was raised by any of the political biggies in the country, about Pawan’s tweets.
But as the demonetization is the hot issue in the country, it should be seen, whether Pawan’s tweets would impact RBI or BJP in any manner.
