It would not be an exaggeration, if I say, maintaining a social media account in these days is one of the basic requirements. Especially, the public figures should have their social media accounts, as reaching public and addressing their problems, through the social media, would be easier.

While Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is the top politician in the Telugu states, in terms of the number of followers on his twitter, now, to compete with him, even Telangana Chief Minister KCR opened his official Facebook account. 

The page is also verified by Facebook and offered a blue tick. Upon the appeal of the Telangana government, Facebook deleted the other fake Facebook accounts in the name of KCR.

However, a Facebook page in the name of Telangana CMO is anyway going to present all the updates of TRS government. But an official page in the name of KCR, would make the public, directly concentrate on KCR.
