Telangana TDP Leader Revanth Reddy is back into action after a long time. Revealing his version about the ongoing issue-Demonetization, the firebrand leader said that, the common public is suffering due to the demonetization.

He opined, “It is not fair for the government to stress on the cashless transactions. Even the developed countries like America are performing only 72% cashless transactions and the rest is being done through cash. But India is already doing 92% cashless transactions. So at this point of time, it is unfair to take the percentage to 100%.”

Not just limiting himself to criticize the government, Revanth Reddy also advised few suggestions to overcome the cash crunch.

“There are several mandals in the state, where not even a single bank is there. So the state government should set up a mini bank in every village and the administration should be kept in the hands of the women organizations of that concerned village,” Revanth Reddy said. 

Keeping in mind the small traders and petty businesses, Revanth Reddy said, “Small traders would not be able to afford to buy swiping machines. So if the government is committed to cashless transactions, it should supply swiping machines free of cost to such small traders.”
