Sasikala is AIADMK Chief?
Not to the surprise of many, Sasikala Natarajan, the closest aide of late Chief Minister Jayalalithaa, is selected as the Party Chief of AIADMK.
Announcing the same, AIADMK spokesperson Ponnaiyan said Sasikala holds no post in the party. Rules will be amended if needed to place her in control. “It is the desire of the entire party,” he said, adding, “Sasikala has functioned as the conscience of Amma.”
Irrespective of religions and castes, a wide section of public in Tamil Nadu, call Jayalalithaa as Amma, who lost her life on December 5th. Sasikala used to live with Amma at her huge bungalow in Chennai’s Poes Garden. She is termed as “Chinnamma” and with the same respect, she is asked to head the party.
