Speculating the impact of demonetization on the before hand, late Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa, has reportedly given a piece of advice to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, just two days before suffering a cardiac arrest that took her life.
Reportedly, on December 2nd, Jayalalithaa, from the hospital, wrote a short note to Modi urging him not to interfere with the 'Gold' owned by people calling it a "matter of sentiment". The reports claim that the letter was a proof that she was fully aware of the happenings around her, especially the effects of demonetization on public, until she suffered a cardiac arrest.
The letter was handed over to Tamil Nadu Chief Secretary Rama Mohana Rao, and later was sent to the state's Governor Vidyasagar Rao.
