It is known that, after the bifurcation of the Telugu states, JC brothers, who had been in Congress since long, shifted their loyalties towards TDP.

But allegedly as the brothers were touted to be neglected in the party, several leaders initiated a Goebbels campaign that JC Brothers will soon be quitting TDP and joining YSRCP based on their caste equations.

JC Diwakar Reddy's son JC Pawan Reddy is already in the news, saying that, he would contest in the 2019 elections through YSRCP. Reacting to this news, Pawan Reddy said, “We feel stripped naked shifting from one party to another, even if we shifted once. We can't do it again and again", Pawan said. 

He further added that, he had even questioned YSRCP Chief YS Jagan for his party leaders spreading baseless rumors about JC family. Pawan also said that, YSRCP leaders are resorting to this Goebbels campaign to instill confidence in the party's leaders who are planning to jump into TDP. He further praised Chandrababu Naidu, saying that, he can take the state onto a developmental path.
