With the intention of promoting the Telugu language in the state, AP government is planning to set up a statutory body for it.
From the school level itself, states like Odisha, Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu are promoting their native language. Inspiring from there, even AP government is keen to promote Telugu. Regarding this, on the recommendations of Telugu Basha Adhyana Committee, this new statutory body is being set up and it will be called "Telugu Bhasha Sadhikara Samstha".
It directs the schools to implement the three language formula (Telugu, English, and Hindi). Its even expected to provide reservation for the candidates in group exams who write in Telugu and reservation in government jobs too for those who studied in Telugu medium.
