Gali converted Rs.100 crores black into white- driver
Blaming Karnataka mining baron Gali Janardhan Reddy and a KAS officer, a man allegedly committed suicide.
Ramesh Gowda, who worked as a driver near special land acquisition officer Bheema Nayak, committed suicide, by consuming poison in Maddur. Gowda, in his suicide note claimed that, as he knew how Reddy converted Rs. 100 crore black money into white, he was receiving constant death threats.
For assisting in converting the money, Nayak allegedly received 20% of it. Adding to it, he even sought Reddy to help him get a ticket to contest in the 2018 Karnataka elections.
Based on the suicide note, a case has been booked against Nayak and his driver Mohammed. The IT department officials visited Reddy’s house in Bellary after the "Rs 500 crore" wedding and asked him to produce details.
