Demonetization: Centre’s new decisions
Keeping in mind, the struggles, the common public is facing in the several parts of the country, due to the demonetization, the Centre took few key decisions.
1. Till 15th of December, old Rs.500 notes can be used to pay the toll tax at the toll gates across the country. The Centre also decided to deploy security at the toll gates, to make sure, no conflicts would take place during the exchange of currency.
2. It even sought the banks not to levy any charge for the banking transactions, customers make in the ATMs.
3. It sought the state governments, to educate the public about the cashless transactions by the government officials.
