Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu claims he is clever enough to accept the Special Package offered by the central government instead of crossing swords.
He alleged that the opposition parties have been criticizing him only for the political mileage. He, however, maintains constructive criticism from anyone would be welcomed.
Naidu said that, NABARD sanctioned Rs 2915 crore for Polavaram Project. 'Land acquisition alone costs Rs 27,000 crore. There is need for Rs 40,000 acres to rehabilitate the migrants. Still, Rs 37,000 crore were required for the completion of the project. In such situation, Should we maintain good relations with the Centre or ends ties?,' he shot back.
AP CM reiterates Centre is keen to offer as much as it can, to compensate after it backtracked on special status. Reacting to the Centre's restrictions on gold, Naidu assured the people of AP not to worry as he would hold talks with PM and Finance Minister over the issue.
