KTR’s cycle punch on Naidu
Promoting the pollution-free environment, Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd, in association with Cykul Bicycle Company, launched India's largest cycle sharing programme in Hyderabad. It is being promoted as Dr.Reddy's Redbike.
IT Minister KTR inaugurated Dr.Reddy's Redbike programme. When the minister thought of going for a ride, photo journalists blocked his way and asked him to use the bell to move forward. Then, in a funny mood, KTR said, not to insult cycle, as it would hurt Chandrababu Naidu.
400 specially designed bicycles from the Redbike, will be kept available at 100 stations. Currently, the programme is implemented in the 15 km stretch of Gachibowli. People could purchase monthly passes online at RedBike.in or using the mobile App. As of now, the monthly charge is Rs. 375 for enjoying the ride from 6 am to 10 pm on weekdays.
