Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is making his best efforts to resolve the severe cash crunch situation in AP.
Regarding this, reportedly, he called up the RBI Governor Urjit Patel and explained the situation. Responding to it, the RBI Governor ordered the authorities to send Rs. 2500 crores to AP on war-footing. The cash was sent to several prominent cities of AP, this morning, by special flights and Naidu already ordered the banks to dispense it to the public by evening.
On the other side, even Telangana Chief Minister KCR is making his best efforts to bring cash into Telangana to solve the cash crunch issue here. But the RBI is yet to respond to TS CM.
As Naidu is going to head the committee of 5 CMs, set up by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the RBI officials showed Naidu, a soft corner, the reports say.
