Mytelangana.com earlier reported that, Telangana Chief Minister KCR is planning to make Siddipet as a cashless town.
Regarding this, the government has already started making attempts and chose Rythu Bazar as the Centre for it. Regarding this, the customers entering the Rythu Bazar will firstly have to go the Rythu Bazar counter and get their debit cards swiped for a certain amount and get the tokens in various denominations.
The customers can then buy the vegetables, offering the tokens instead of money to the vendors, who, at the end of the day, can submit the tokens and get the amount deposited into their bank accounts.
If at all the customers bought the vegetables for the lesser amount they swiped at the counter, they can get the balance amount back into their bank accounts, by submitting the tokens at the counter.
