Govt employees to get Rs 10,000 in cash from their salaries
Unwilling the stress the government staff and retired employees anymore, the Telangana government has decided to pay Rs 10,000 of salaries in cash. Regarding this, the government will set up the separate counters.
It is known that earlier, both the Telugu state governments had planned to pay half the salary due to the demonetization. AP requires about Rs 2,500 crore to pay salaries and pensions and TS Rs 2,200 crore.
The TS government said the SBH, the SBI, Andhra Bank and nationalized banks have already been informed. The TS and AP state governments have made arrangements for salaries to be paid as usual on December 1st.
