In an attempt to encourage the tourism in the state, the Telangana government is bringing forward some interesting special packages. Regarding this, it introduced two flip top buses, so that the tourists can visit tourist spots in the city, sitting in the buses itself.

Charminar, Golkonda, Choumahalla Palace, Salarjung Museum, Makka Masjid and several popular places in Hyderabad form the part of the special package. Tourists can spend any amount of time at the tourist spots and the bus moves to the next spot, only with the prior consent of the tourists.

Going a step ahead, Telangana State Tourism Development Corporation (TSTDC) also introduced Heli Tours through which the tourists can visit the places like Birla Mandir, Assembly etc, right from the sky.  

After the formation of Telangana, the state government even increased the water sports at Hussain Sagar, bringing down new boats, which resulted into the increase of tourists to the state.
