Not sparing even the own party members, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today asked all the BJP MPs and MLAs to submit details of their bank account transactions between November 8 and December 31 to the party President Amit Shah.

The latest decision came at a Parliamentary meeting, after the opposition parties raised the allegations, that the BJP had tipped off a few of its own leaders ahead of the demonetization announcement. Adding to it, Modi even rejected the allegations that the Income Tax Amendment Bill tabled in the Lok Sabha on Monday was aimed at converting black money into white.

"The PM described the move as a fight against black money and said it is for the welfare of poor," Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ananth Kumar said. 

He further added that Modi is aiming to make India a digital and cashless economy and seeking support for the same from everyone.
