AP CM Chandrababu Naidu is likely to lead a five-member sub-committee of state Chief Ministers, to be set up by the union government to deal with the problems caused by demonetization.

Reportedly, Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, upon the advice of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, phoned Naidu to seek his consent in taking the lead for committee, which is expected to come up with some suitable measures to halt the tizzy situation and face the aftermaths of the cash-swap. 

After the announcement of demonetization, Naidu is continually collaborating with the RBI officials and Bank employees to resolve the scarcity of money in AP and it should be noted that, Naidu was one among the few, who suggested demonetization before the official announcement of the same.

The five-member CMs committee would include Nithish Kumar from Bihar and Naveen Patnaik from Odissa, besides Chandrababu Naidu and other two BJP CMs.
