Lady thanks Modi for stopping marriage
It is known that due to the demonetization, even the marriages took a tight beating and got postponed in several parts of the country. In an interesting move, a Lawyer-practitioner Kavitha thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi with an emotional letter.
Kavitha was supposed to tie the knot with a person on December 9th. But upon bridegroom parents' demand to furnish dowry in new currency, Kavitha's family couldn't come up with new cash within the scheduled date, they called off the wedding some time back.
Regarding this, the bride thanked Modi saying that, she realized the true colors of the bridegroom and she could luckily escape a money-oriented person right before the marriage. Last week, a bride in Varanasi received a surprise financial assistance of Rs 20,000 from Modi after she wrote a letter to PMO to seek a helping hand for her marriage.
