Free hearse services to the poor in Telangana
It is known that in the recent times, a beggar in Hyderabad, found tough to take his dead wife’s body to his village. He had to drag her in a cart, all the way to Vikarabad from Hyderabad. Adding to it, a poor person holding his wife’s dead body on his shoulders and carrying to his village, has disturbed many.
Moved over this, the Telangana government has now decided to provide free hearse services to the poor, who cannot afford to take the dead bodies to their places.
Currently, an ambulance regarding this, was launched in Gandhi Hospital, Hyderabad today, by the Health Minister Laxma Reddy and Deputy Chief Minister Mahmood Ali. The government is planning to provide the similar facility in all the government hospitals across the state.
