It is known that, the State Bank of India waived off Rs. 7000 crore loans of the biggies, just after few days of the announcement of demonetization. The beneficiaries include Vijay Mallya whose Rs 1,200 crore debt was waived.

Referring to this, a municipal worker in Maharashtra named Bhaurao Sonawane, who have a bank loan of Rs 1.5 lakh, sent a letter to the SBI congratulating it for the good decision to waive off Mallya's loan. Not stopping there, he even sought SBI to waive off his loan too in the similar manner.

Bhaurao took the loan towards the medical expenses when his son was battling illness. He is still waiting for a reply from the Bank Manager.

When a biggie who ran out of the country skipping the repayment of the whopping Rs. 1200 crore loan was waived, why not a common man, who took the loan for his son's medical expenses, avail the similar benefit?
