Only senior citizens can exchange notes today
As the senior citizens are finding tough to exchange notes in the long queue lines, identifying their problem, the government allotted today only to them.
Only the senior citizens, can reach out to banks today and exchange up to Rs. 2000. However, the other customers, who is visiting the banks for any other purpose other than exchanging notes will be allowed, but they are strictly restricted to exchange the old currency to that of the new.
It is known that the banks were open last Sunday to benefit the customers, but as the government felt that the situation got better, banks would remain close this Sunday. But there is not much change in the situation, as long queues are still witnessed near the banks and ATMs.
