Demonetization: Naidu’s new suggestions to Modi
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu spoke to the media just a while about the demonetization.
Keeping in mind the struggles, common public is facing to withdraw the cash from ATMs and banks, Naidu opined that, online transactions should be increased. Regarding this, he sought the Centre to allot subsidies to increase the swiping machines in the country.
95 lakh people in the Telugu states are still surviving without bank accounts. So awareness campaigns should be conducted to make them open the accounts.
It is to be noted that, earlier, Naidu is one among the few who suggested Modi to ban Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 notes. So it would be interesting to see, whether even the current suggestions of Naidu would reach PM’s office.
