Telangana Chief Minister KCR, who spoke to Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the problems arising due to demonetization, was asked to come to Delhi today. Modi even asked KCR to prepare a blue print on the measures to be taken to mitigate the difficulties of the people post-demonetization.
According to TS CM, demonetization is a good initiative that can help India's economy. But any decision taken by the Centre to curb black money, should not cause misery and suffering to the lakhs of small traders, and those in the unorganized sectors as well as the common man. Efforts should be put in place to safeguard the interests of these sections in the society. The people should be made partners and stakeholders in the development.
He further opined that, the people who are having more than Rs. 250000 cash as income or savings, doesn't mean they committed fraud, it should be treated to as unaccounted money. He said that the small and medium traders, businessmen and others in the unorganized sectors should be given certain exemptions.
