GHMC’s old notes offer shows huge impact!
After the demonetization, there are several instances where people expressed their distress over it in several ways.
Left with no choice, while few people are leaving the banned notes in the dustbins, others are sharing it with public. Identifying this situation, GHMC announced that it would accept even the old notes for the property tax.
Not only for the current period, GHMC said that it would even accept the tax payments for the next five years, with the same old notes. As few sections of the public are anyway in the mood of destroying the old currency, are now utilizing this offer from GHMC, and settling all the tax payments.
While GHMC never witnessed people paying property tax in the past, after its big announcement, public in large numbers gathered at the GHMC office to pay the property tax.
