Right after Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the ban of Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 notes, people around the country had to face the impact big time. While, Modi anyway allowed the railway stations, toll plazas, petrol bunks and few other emergency services to receive the Rs.500 or Rs. 1000 notes, there are instances where even people faced tough time get the emergency services. 

Especially, due to the non acceptance of the banned currency at toll plazas, vehicles were halted at several places in the country, which led to the huge criticism from the public. Unwilling to make the issue more ugly, the Centre announced to call off the Toll taxes for two days. 

So till Friday, no toll tax will be charged at any toll plaza in the country. This is in fact a good news to those going for the tours in these two days. The Central government should be appreciated for sacrificing the toll tax income for two days.
