Hyderabad roads claimed yet another life when a person fell from his bike, trying to avoid the damaged road.

Harikrishna (33), while driving his bike in the wee hours, near Defence Research & Development Laboratory (DRDL), noticed a damaged portion in the middle of the road and applied sudden brake at the junction. 

Reportedly, both Harikrishna and pillion rider Balakrishna were wearing helmets, but as Harikrishna had not strapped on his helmet, it came off during the accident, and resulted into a severe head injury to him and his friend Balakrishna survived with fractures.  

Sub-inspector K. Ravi said, “We are verifying the details of the case. Based on the PME and further inquiry, we will proceed.”

Since September, this is the fourth death in Hyderabad and all were caused due to the bad condition of roads. So, instead of waiting for the oppositions or public to declare war against the government, it would be better, if the officials repair the roads taking it as the first priority.
