Demanding to increase the commission, the petrol bunks associations in Telangana have decided to take holidays on Sundays and festivals. It means, the citizens are now supposed to get the petrol only on the working days, but cannot wait to fill their motors petrol tanks leisurely on holidays. Adding to it, just like any other offices, even the petrol bunks will be open from 9am to 6pm from tomorrow.
Currently, oil companies are paying Rs. 2.54 per litre as commission and Rs. 1.46 for diesel. But as the maintenance costs are allegedly turning as burden, the dealers requested for the hike in commission for quite some time. But citing no move from the officials, dealers had to take the decision (as explained above), Telangana petrol bunk dealers association chief G Vinay Kumar said.
