Seeking Special Investigation Team (SIT) probe against Industrialist Ratan Tata, BJP Rajya Sabha Member Subramanian Swamy wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Mr. Swamy pointed out mainly 4 criminal offences allegedly committed by Ratan Tata. 'Rotten Tata be charged for conspiracy, criminal breach of trust, criminal misappropriation, money laundering and company law violation,' he wrote in the letter.

He further opined that, SIT should comprise officials from CBI, SEBI and Enforcement Directorate. He stressed the need to prosecute Ratan Tata and also asked the government not to interfere to protect him. The BJP MP told Ratan Tata isn't actually a Tata as his father Naval chose him from an Orphanage as he was childless. 'In 2g Rattan was Rotten,' he commented.

After Cyrus Mistry was sacked as Chairman & his letter exposing the fraudulent practices in the organisation, Tata Group came under the scanner of SEBI and Stock Exchanges. However, Tata Group maintained Cyrus Mistry made the allegations with malicious intent.
