KCR aims at increasing reservations
Telangana government is working to bring the families living in the Below Poverty Line (BPL) to Above Poverty Line (APL) and regarding this, it is intending to increase the reservation benefits, Telangana Chief Minister KCR said.
BS Ramulu as BC Commission chairman and Vakulabharanam, Krishnamohan, Juluri Gouri Shankar, Anjaneya Goud as members took responsibilities and on this occasion, CM asked to prepare a detailed report about the situation of various castes and sought to suggest any possible help to such castes.
“Based on the population in Tamil Nadu, the state government over there earned more reservations and even Parliament added 9th schedule, agreeing the proposal. Even the Telangana government is planning to move forward in the similar way as about 80% of the people in Telangana belong to lower castes,” KCR said.
