A senior doctor was arrested for allegedly sending an ‘obscene’ message relating to Diwali on a Whatsapp group.

Mohammad Yaqub, a doctor at the Community Health Centre in Pokhran, Rajasthan was arrested under Section 151 of the CrPC and removed from his post following complaints from members of Hindu organizations.

Jaisalmer SP Gaurav Yadav refused to reveal the content of the text, but said, “the message was worded obscenely.” Reportedly, members of Hindu organizations and local Youth Congress activists joined to protest and condemn against the WhatsApp message. "When we got to know about it, we made the arrest," Yadav said.

Similar to this, there are several other cases, which led to the arrests of the individuals over their Whatsapp messages. So it is to be noted that every message on the social media would reach to a large number of people and may create any disturbance from anywhere. So it would be better if the individuals, think twice before making a post.
