It is to be noted that mytelangana.com earlier reported that the free Wi-Fi in Patna railway station is mostly being used to watch porn. Regarding this, the railways today has blocked all the porn sites. 

According to the RailTel survey, Patna Junction had topped the list of stations with maximum internet searches for porn sites. Responding to the issue, East Central Railway (ECR) CPRO Arvind Rajak said free Wi-Fi services are being provided to ensure that passengers could know the exact position and movement of trains running in the zone. "Unfortunately, the facility was being used for some 'other' purposes," he said. 

According to the sources, railways is aiming at providing free Wi-Fi at 400 major stations across the country in 3 years from now and is also aiming to provide free Wi-Fi at 100 major stations by the year-end. Railways would thus emerge as the largest provider of free Wi-Fi service to public in the world, sources said adding that Wi-Fi service was commissioned by RailTel in association with Google.
