GHMC to repair 489 roads in Hyderabad
The recent Hyderabad roads, which revealed the low quality of roads, is now being concerned by the officials.
GHMC officials regarding this, has identified 45 severely damaged roads and taken up the repairing works. These roads are being laid as a permanent solution. It was decided to repair 489 roads damaged due to heavy rains that lashed the city.
399 out of 489 roads would be laid with BT roads with a cost of Rs 66 crore, 75 cc roads with a cost of Rs 7.30 crore and 45 roads with paver block method with a cost of Rs 40 lakh. The roads where paver blocks were used were: Khairatabad KCP junction, Ramnagar fish market, Srinagar colony main road, Satyasai Nigmanigam, Filmnagar road no.87, Jubilee Hills Road no.32, Raj Bhavan Road junction, Moghal ka Nala, and Hafizpet main road.
