The ex railways minister Lalu Prasad Yadav's son Tejashwi Prasad Yadav, who is currently the deputy Chief Minister of Bihar is identified to be one of the most eligible bachelors in the country.
The 26 year old recently launched a WhatsApp complaint helpline for Bihar's dilapidated roads. But mistaking it as his personal number, several girls across the country flooded the helpline with the love and marriage proposals. Reacting to the proposals, Tejashwi said, "I am delighted to know so many girls like me, but for now I am busy with the development works of Bihar."
Not satisfied with it, when one of the media persons started taking the issue further, the first-time MLA from Raghopur said "to spare him". "Actors and politicians who are chased by you (media) with wedding queries remain unmarried. Rahul Gandhi is an example," he joked.
According to an RCD official, not just the proposals, but several girls on whatsapp even provided their personal details. "Many girls even gave details like gotra, height, complexion and place of birth," the official said, adding the messages came not only from Bihar but also from Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Maharashtra and Gujarat.
Meanwhile, even father Lalu Prasad Yadav took time to respond to the proposals, saying that, Tejashwi's bride will be an "acchi ladki" (good girl) and her caste or clan won't matter. "But Tejashwi's elder brother and forest minister Tej Pratap will get hitched first," he added.
