After vacating the AP employees from the secretariat, Telangana Chief minister KCR is making efforts to put Telangana flavor on the new secretariat completely and regarding this, he has decided to reflect Telangana culture, forts and Kakatiya dynasty.

The existing buildings will completely be razed down and in the same place, the new secretariat construction works would take place soon. The main building, according to preliminary designs, will be designed in a 'dome' shape reflecting Telangana culture and Kakatiya dynasty. Each floor will have 80,000 sqft space. Around six floors will come up in a single block.

Telangana government's architect and vastu expert Suddala Sudhakar Teja will examine the designs prepared by the noted architect Hafeez Contractor. The new complex will be constructed on around 22 acres of land available over there.

The CM's Office will have video-conference facility and meeting hall. Out of the 22 acres, 2 acres will be meant for the Secretariat building. In the remaining space, a huge parking complex is being planned.
