It seems, the Telangana government has set up a separate team to explore the ways to go against AP government. Telangana is now demanding a share in the income generated by Venkateshwara Swamy temple in Tirupathi. The head priest of Chilukuri Balaji Temple, Dr. MV Soundarrajan, has moved a petition in this regard in the Hyderabad High Court.

In the petition, it was clearly mentioned that Telangana should get its rightful share from 2002-2013 (about 1000 crores) from Tirumala temple earnings. Accepting the petition, the High Court has sought the response from TTD, AP & Telangana governments. Three weeks later, the hearing of the case would take place. 

Even in the past, TTD revenue has come up in the discussion, but a petition like this, was never filed before. On the political front, Soundarrajan has moved the petition at the time when the Telangana Chief Minister KCR is getting ready to visit Tirumala for offering whatever he promised for bringing the Telangana statehood into reality.

This point is now making the analysts opine that, Telangana government is behind Soundarrajan, but not the priest acting independently.
