The deadly rains in the recent times in Hyderabad have revealed the battered roads. While the public faced tough situations and even before the situation someone knock the doors of the government regarding the roads, IT Minister KTR himself took the initiative and ordered the officials to repair the roads.

Now the central government has sanctioned Rs. 620 crores to Telangana under the Central Road Fund, under which the Centre earlier sanctioned Rs. 400 crores for the same purpose. Telangana Road and Buildings Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao thanked Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari for the sanction of funds. He also added that the proposals worth another Rs. 3,000 crore are under the consideration of the Centre.

Roads repairing is the one immediate thing the Telangana government is considering to take forward. However, the quality of the repaired roads would be known to public in the next rainy season, the analysts opine.
